So you want to replace your crusty, old winch rope (or metal cable) with something better you say? Well lucky for you, we’ve got you covered. We’ve currently got a few friends and family members that have swapped out their old-school, fraying, metal winch cables and replaced them with our super high quality, synthetic winch rope – and they are glad they did. This is a very high-quality rope, constructed of UHMWPE, which is just a fancy acronym for Ultra High Molecular Weight Polyethylene. This means it’s light as a feather, way more supple, and easier to work with than steel. For another – it’s also stronger than the old-school, steel cable. Roughly 8x as strong.
